Axis Psychiatric Services, LLC has been serving patients in the Salem area since 2016. Our Psychiatric Clinic is made up of highly skilled professionals who deeply value your health and well-being. We take great pride in providing our community with high quality, patient-centric care and mental health education.

Our nurse practitioner Tarra Baker began her journey into mental health from the science side of things, she graduated with honors with a degree in behavioral neuroscience from East Tennessee State University prior to becoming a nurse practitioner upon completion of the rigorous program at Vanderbilt University. This background in neuroscience offers a functional background to inform how medications work at the neuron. This not only aids with medication selection, but in educating her clients regarding the intricacies their diagnoses. Tarra's passion is using her skill set to positively impact patient care.

Tarra is board certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
